and Monitoring to Counter Corruption:
Strategies and Impact in Central and Eastern Europe
19 - 20 June 1999 Varna, Bulgaria
This workshop will review anti-corruption strategies
in the transitional countries of Central and Eastern
Europe, with an emphasis on developing coalitions
and partnerships between government departments,
the private sector, and NGOs. The host is the Bulgarian
anti-corruption partnership, Coalition 2000. The
workshop is being sponsored by the Open Society
Institute and the US Agency for International Development.
